CHELSEA WANTS ARAUJO
CHELSEA are reportedly very interested in raiding Barcelona in the coming transfer windows, as they are reportedly planning a move to sign defender Ronald Araujo in order to bolster their back-line issues.
A number of players have already been brought to Stamford Bridge over the past few windows – but there is a feeling in the media that the club need to sign players that have already proven themselves at the top of the game and could make an immediate impact.
Araujo suffered an injury in the summer that meant he would miss the start of this campaign, causing Barcelona to change up their back-line, and now there is not too much space in the side for the defender.
And According to reports, this has angered Araujo, with the player now open to leaving the club , and according to Fichajes, the English club would be willing to pay £60 million to strengthen their defense with the services of the experienced defender, in a move that could shake up the next transfer market.
IcChelseanews View…
Araujo would be a great signing for the club that is for sure, he could take over as the leader in defence following Thiago Silva’s departure from Stamford Bridge.
We have seen the transfer policy from the club over the past few windows – but at the end of the day – can we really see this young squad competing for that Premier League title against Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool with a bit of added experience to the side.
