£30M star reveals excitement after late Chelsea transfer deal all wrapped up!

Carney Chukwuemeka admitted that he feels blessed after it was revealed he left CHELSEA on deadline day to move to Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season.
The midfielder has endured an injury-laden time at the club since signing from Aston Villa and has really struggled to make any sort of impact at Stamford Bridge which means that he will be a big part of the plans for Enzo Maresca.
And with game time needed, the decision was made in January for the midfielder to make the move to the Bundesliga and join Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season, a move that was confirmed very late on deadline day.
Chukwuemeka, who has played 37 Premier League games and scored 1 goal, said: “I’m really excited and blessed to be here and represent this big club. I can’t wait to play in front of the fans at Signal Iduna Park and bring success to us all.”
Borussia Dortmund Sporting Director Sebastian Kehl said: “Carney is an extremely talented box-to-box player who has made a real impression in the Premier League at a young age – it’s no surprise that he has played for all the England youth teams from U17 onwards.
‘His dynamism, his attacking mindset and his confidence, combined with his outstanding quality as a footballer, make him an exciting addition to our squad.
‘His development had stalled recently in London, but despite not having played regularly we think he offers huge potential and we hope that Carney can rediscover what makes him such a good player here.”
