Chelsea fee set as club want to sell £325k-a-week star

CHELSEA have named their asking price for Raheem Sterling and the former Arsenal star reportedly has a preference over which club to sign for as the Blues look to offload the winger this summer.

The club have been very busy this transfer window, they have spent over £200 million on bringing in new players to improve many areas of the squad and now look like a side that can challenge for that Premier League title next season.

However – the Blues also need to get a number of players off the books over the next few months, and Sterling is a player that Chelsea are reportedly very interested in letting go, According to The Athletic

They report that the club are open to selling the 82-cap England international for £20m, less than half what they paid Manchester City for him three years ago. But progress on an exit has been slow, with no talks held between the club and the player, with his whopping £325,000-a-week wages set to be a problem.

There are a few clubs interested, so Sterling will probably get a move away, but if Chelsea cant get him gone one a permanent basis, then they may have to send him out on loan once again just like they did with Arsenal last seasons.

He is not good enough for the club and what we want to achieve, so we will be glad to see the man leave
