Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –

Manchester United are reportedly “open to any offer” for long-term CHELSEA target Jadon Sancho in the January window,

On the back of his £75 million ($94m) arrival from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in 2021, the highly-rated wideman has registered just 12 goals through 82 appearances and failed to impress like many had hoped.

It is suggested that the working relationship between the England international winger and his coach Erik Ten Hag has completely broken down at Old Trafford. With there seemingly no way back, a move that suits all parties.

Sancho’s publicly hit back against United boss Erik ten Hag and insisted he had been made a ‘scapegoat’ following criticism for failing to reach the required performance in training.

Ten Hag has reportedly made it clear that Sancho will not return to the main squad unless he issues an apology. Amid his ongoing dispute with the Red Devils boss, Sancho is reportedly leaving the club in the January transfer window,

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –

Fabrizio Romano has told his Daily Briefing podcast: “I think they [United] know at the moment that it’s not going to be a permanent transfer, that could be a loan deal with a buy option included. So, I think in January that they will be open to any opportunity of course. Of course, they would prefer a permanent transfer, that would be perfect to have their money back after what they spent on Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

‘But, at the moment, they know in January to find a top class club in Europe prepared to pay, and this is my opinion and not the official price, somewhere between £50m-£55m is not going to be easy. So we will have to see what happens there.”

Romano added: “At the moment, the people from Manchester United is very clear. It looks like it’s 90 per cent over between Jadon Sancho and Man United. We keep a 10 per cent because we know that anything can happen in football, but as of today, it reminds us of the situation with Cristiano Ronaldo one year ago.

‘The feeling is that Jadon has to find a new club in the January transfer window.”

RAMSDALE WANTED –

CHELSEA are reportedly planning a shock transfer move for out-of-favour Arsenal keeper Aaron Ramsdale, according to reports.

Mikel Arteta made the big decision over the summer transfer window to make a move and sign the impressive David Raya on loan until the end of the season, despite the fact that Ramsdale has been brilliant since his move to the Emirates.

Ramsdale featured in the opening four games of the season for Arteta and co. But was dropped for the Gunners last Premier League outing, which has got the transfer headlines ringing.

WHAT IS THE LATEST –

Journalist Ben Jacobs says that the club hope to take advantage of Ramsdale’s situation across the capital and sign the ex-Bournemouth ace, and are already working on a deal that may tempt him to the club.

The report claims that we ‘remain open’ to signing another goalkeeper despite bringing in Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic during the summer transfer window.

IcChelseanews View…

It is a strange decision to have two impressive Premier League stars at the club, but we do believe that Arteta sees Raya as the future of the club and would be open to selling Ramsdale in the January window or at the end of the season.

The club need to add a better goalkeeper to the side so if Arsenal are open to letting the man leave, he could be a very good addition to our side that is for sure.

However – we cannot see Mikel Arteta letting the stopper leave the club in the January window as David Raya is only at the club on a loan basis and has not been that impressive between the sticks.

OSIMHEN PERFECT –

Victor Osimhen: Why He Should Be CHELSEA FC’s Number One Target by reporter Iomie Stanley

Victor Osimhen, the talented Nigerian striker currently plying his trade at Napoli, has been making waves in the footballing world with his impressive performances and remarkable goal-scoring ability.

As Chelsea FC seeks to strengthen its squad and maintain its competitive edge, it’s essential to consider why Osimhen should be their number one transfer target. Here are several compelling reasons why the Blues should prioritize the acquisition of this dynamic forward.

Scoring Prowess: Osimhen’s most obvious attribute is his scoring ability. He has consistently demonstrated a clinical touch in front of goal, which is a quality highly sought after by top-tier clubs like Chelsea. Osimhen’s knack for finding the back of the net would provide the Stamford Bridge outfit with a reliable source of goals, alleviating the pressure on the current attacking options.

Versatility: What makes Osimhen an attractive target is his versatility in the final third. He is not just a traditional center-forward; he can adapt to different attacking roles. He can lead the line as a target man, operate in a two-striker system, or even drift wide and participate in build-up play. This flexibility would allow CHELSEA to adopt various tactical approaches, adapting to the opposition and providing depth to their attacking options.

Youthful Potential: At 24 years old, Osimhen represents the ideal blend of youth and experience. His best years are ahead of him, and he has already showcased immense potential. Chelsea has a track record of nurturing and developing young talent, and Osimhen’s arrival would fit perfectly into their long-term vision.

Physical Attributes: Osimhen possesses the physical attributes necessary for the demanding Premier League. He is quick, strong, and agile, making him well-suited to the rigors of English footall. His pace and power could add a new dimension to Chelsea’s attack, particularly on the counter-attack, where he could exploit open spaces effectively.

Complementary to Existing Squad: Osimhen’s style of play and skillset make him a natural fit alongside Chelsea’s current attacking options. Whether it’s playing alongside Romelu Lukaku or providing an alternative to him, Osimhen’s presence would enhance the overall depth and quality of the squad.

International Experience: Osimhen’s experience with the Nigerian national team further underscores his ability to perform at the highest level. His international exploits have garnered attention, and he has shown his mettle against top-tier opposition, adding a level of composure that could prove invaluable for CHELSEA in high-stakes fixtures.

Scarcity of Top Strikers: World-class strikers are a precious commodity in football, and they are often hard to come by. Osimhen’s availability presents a unique opportunity for Chelsea to secure a proven goal-scorer, something that is crucial for success in modern football.

Market Value: While Osimhen’s market value has risen in recent years, he remains a more financially viable option compared to some other marquee strikers. Chelsea can potentially secure his services without breaking the bank, allowing them to allocate resources to other areas of the squad.

In conclusion, Victor Osimhen’s acquisition would represent a strategic and timely move. His scoring prowess, versatility, youth, and physical attributes make him a perfect fit for the club.
