£100M Chelsea bombshell dropped – Incoming signing ‘exciting talent’ – Chelsea have agreed to sign £170M striker
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icChelseanews that we think you guys may have missed –
Brighton owner Tony Bloom has revealed there is a possibility that the Seagulls may not conduct any business with CHELSEA ‘over the next two or three years’.
18-year-old striker Evan Ferguson burst onto the scene last season and earned himself a new five-year deal with the club last spring.
The Republic of Ireland international’s netted 14 league goals in just over 30 appearances for Brighton and has attracted interest from come of the Premier League’s biggest and best clubs.
Ferguson has netted a whopping four goals in four matches for the Seagulls already this season after a stunning hat-trick against Newcastle, and he is now a talent that the likes of Man City and Arsenal have been linked with in recent days.
And after his impressive start to the new season, the £100 million valued striker has now been tipped to make a move to Stamford Bridge in the coming transfer window, as the club will look to continue spending the cash.
However – Brighton have seemingly dropped a massive bombshell on the plans of Chelsea – Speaking to The Athletic, he said: “It’s possible over the next two or three years that we have no dealings with CHELSEA.
“So, for me, it’s not personal at all and each individual deal I’ve got to do what’s best for the football club first and foremost. If other clubs are interested in our head coaches, staff, players, I much prefer it that way than no one’s looking at any of our players or staff.
“So, we’re doing something very right. We do everything we can to keep our best players, but we know in the way of the world that won’t always be the case.”
KENDRY PAEZ CLAIM MADE –
CHELSEA star Martin Odegaard has hailed Norwegian wonderkid Antonio Nusa as an exciting player.
Nusa is a lad that has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months, as there were reports that we made an offer to try and get a deal done.
However – a move to Stamford Bridge never worked out as the club didnt want to meet the asking price of Nusa, which has opened up the door for other clubs to keep an eye on the young man ahead of the January window.
Nusa put on a masterful display for his country during their Euro 2024 qualifier against Georgia. The 18-year-old set up goals for both Manchester City talisman Erling Haaland and Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard during the 2-1 victory.
The clash marked just his second appearance for Norway at senior level and yet he now already boasts a tally that reads one goal and three assists.
And amid all the speculation – Arsenal captain Odegaard has opened up and revealed that Nusa is a very exciting player that has a big future ahead of him in the game of Football.
“Fantastic! He is an incredibly exciting player,” Odegaard told TV2. “You see it, everything he gets the ball, it’s exciting. He is still young and will get even better. It was cool to see him. He deserved to get the chance that he takes it to such an extent. Incredibly cool!
“He must continue as he has done. Work hard, be humble. He’s a nice boy. Very calm and nice type. It’s going to be just fine. He just has to enjoy the football and continue to deliver as he does. Then it will be good.”
OSIMHEN AGREEMENT?
There has been some stunning claims that CHELSEA have already agreed a deal to sign Victor Osimhen in the next transfer window.
Osimhen has ready established himself as one of the very best strikers in the game right now and a man that is tipped to make a big transfer move in the next couple of windows.
He helped Napoli win their first League title for many seasons and led the scoring charts in the process – with reports suggesting that the Italians now value him at around the £170 million mark.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
This comes courtesy of Football Transfers, who say Pochettino and co are “leading the race” to sign Osimhen over Premier League rivals Arsenal.
Football Transfer sources indicate that there is a “possibility that a deal may already have been agreed upon” with the player.
Osimhen’s current deal runs until 2025, but it is now believed that the Scudetto holders will want to cash in while the 24-year-old’s stock is high.
SHOULD CHELSEA SIGN OSIMHEN?
We need a striker – he could be a very solid addition to that front-line that is for certain guys.
This contract situation will give the club a chance – but we cant see a move happening this summer as this is probably a ploy by his agent to get some more money and get the demands that Osimhen desires.
But one thing is for certain – we have a very exciting attack – but the club need to sign an actual striker that is used to playing down the middle – and they need to hurry up about it too, as they are missing out on some big names.
